I’m currently in meet prep for the 2016 APF Equipped Nationals, in Orlando, Florida on May 28th, 2016. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps. The big picture is to prep for this meet, and obtain a top three placing to qualify for WPC Worlds in November.

Thursdays's training was just another session of punching the clock. Doing my best to stay healthy, keep my bench press rolling in the right direction, and finishing out another week. We're finally approaching the tail-end of prep, and this session marked my final day of having carbs within the diet. So starting tomorrow I will be low carb until after weigh ins (sigh). My weight has been at a great point all meet prep long, so I'm hoping things continue to go smoothly. It will be interesting in two weeks to see how my cut goes with flying, as it's been nearly two years since I've flown while cutting. I'm hoping I can get down where I need to be before boarding on Thursday of meet week, and while the flight won't be fun, hopefully it lets me float quite a bit off. Taking openers over the weekend, some speed work during the week, and then we rest up!
