The North American Outlaw Kettlebell Club and The Spot Athletics will be hosting a Kettlebell Competition. The main purpose of this event is to grow the sport and get more people introduced to Kettlebell sport. You will learn what's involved in training for an event as well as competing at one.
The traditional competitions are a 10 min set which scares most new lifters away from trying. Let's be honest, you don't go out and run a marathon without doing a half marathon first right? Why not try a 5 min kettlebell set before you try a 10 min set.
The Spot Athletics will be a great venue for this meet, Columbus Ohio is home to some of the best gyms in the world. If you have never tried a kettlebell competition, this one is for you. We welcome new lifters, young and old or if you are a seasoned Kettlebell lifter here is your chance to get under a heavier bell for only 5 Mins.
Sign up for early bird before May 1st. There will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in each category. This will be a fun event sanctioned by the North American Outlaw Kettlebell Club and their rules. Try a snatch set, long cycle (clean & Jerk) or Biathlon.
