So as you guys know, I took some time to rest and relax (drink and eat) in Mexico, but I'm back! Admittedly, I did not know what to expect for this session because I did close to nothing this past week besides rest on a beach, and I came back to sets of 8 and 10 on pulls. I have been warming up consistently with hook grip, and training my crushing strength separately through farmers carries and CoC grippers, and I hit a big hook grip PR which should be my last warm up in a normal competition situation. I think I've figured it out, and I am extremely optimistic about being able to hold onto some serious weight in the future. This new position slows me down off the floor, but by having both hands pronated, the bar is so much closer to me, and it makes lockout a breeze.
