APF State meet December 19, 2019

Training

Originally the plan was to take this evil bar for a ride against Light Bands. Right after we slapped them on I knew it was not going to be enough so more tensions needed to be added to the party. Last training cycle we only doubled our bands, nothing over a Double monster mini for anyone. This cycle I wanted to learn the tension of all the bands EliteFTS has to offer, I digress, the Light Bands were accompanied by Monster minis and it was quickly realized it was fine, no more was needed. These caught up to me at about 395 and things started to get interesting. The goal in my head was single at 500 bar weight against light and monster minis, I got there but bailed on a solid deep squat like a Lil bish. I loaded the bar with what I wanted and stood up with it the only way I knew how wasn't pretty but I strained.

So much for nailing the down sets, this was a little much of a stressor for a 3x5 keeping the bands. Next time through this I think 30% and the lighter of the 2 bands need to be dropped. Every decent on the last rep I was questioning things, lol.
