Check out Part One Here!

After the crazy morning session, we were on to the afternoon session with 4 team members. Brett Burton, Wade Burton, Brandon Evans and Pat “Titty McGritty” Ryan.

Having a bigger crew at the meet helped a lot for the afternoon. Also, these guys were at the meet most of the morning and saw what they had in store for them.

Brett Burton:  Soon to be gear whore.

Squat Opener: 300 lbs. Perfect opener
Second: 325 lbs. Work, but wasn’t too much work
Third: 335 lbs. The best squat I have ever seen him do!

Bench Opener: 190 lbs. Good lift
Second: 210 lbs. Good lift
Third: 220 lbs. A sweet grind and foreshadowing for what was later to come. No lift

Deadlift Opener: 390 lbs. No problem
Second: 405 lbs. Boom! 4 plates bitches!!! (Not realy 4 plates as they were using hundred pound plates)
Third: 420 lbs. Greatest grind of all time!!!! About 15 seconds of pure intensity and guts. And no lift haha

Great meet all around for Brett 7/9 and the 2 of the best misses of the meet. Totaled 950 lbs at 169 lbs raw with wraps.

Wade Burton: Probably still wound tight from the meet.

Squat Opener: 290 lbs
Second: 315 lbs. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! Panic missed
Third: 315 lbs. Less panic. Same miss J

Bench Opener: 200 lbs. Good lift
Second: 215 lbs. A bit of a grind. But still a good lift
Third: 225 lbs. Close but not quite there!

Deadlift Opener: 335 lbs. Nailed it.
Second: 355 lbs. Yup
Third: 365 lbs. Got some sweet shakes going on for this one. But locked it out!

Wade went 6/9 and totaled 870 raw with sleeve at 175ish. Great first meet for Wade

Brandon Evans: The most ticklish person I have ever meet.

Squat Opener: 305 lbs. Perfect opener
Second: 330 lbs. Work, but wasn’t too much work
Third: 350 lbs. Good lift

Bench Opener: 215 lbs. Good lift
Second: 230 lbs. Good lift
Third: 240 lbs. No lift

Deadlift Opener: 405 lbs. Yup
Second: 430 lbs. Good Lift
Third: 450 lbs. Great effort. No lift

Brandon it PR’s across the board and went 7/9 and totaled 990 lbs raw at 192.

Pat Ryan: the best worst lifter I have ever seen lift.

Squat Opener: 325 lbs. Opener Done.
Second: 345 lbs. Yes
Third: 360 lbs. He didn’t blow up. So that is a victory for me as a coach

Bench Opener: 385 lbs. Crushed it
Second: 410 lbs. Crushed it again. No lift because they called him for “heaving”. He didn’t. Titty has huge pecs. Crazy huge pecs. Hence the nick name Titty.
Third: 410 lbs. Crushed it again. Good lift. Titty took it upon himself to make sure he didn’t get called for that again and touched the bar about 4 inches lower on his chest than he has ever touched before. And still pushed it up!! Great work. Blows my mind.

Deadlift Opener: 405 lbs. No problem
Second: 450 lbs. Sweet stiff legged deadlift
Third: 475 lbs. Ugly as the day is long, but still got it up!!

Pat trained his ass off for this meet. I’m really proud of him. He was insane raw power and very little technique. We are going to work on that last part as he prepares for his next meet. Whenever that may be!!

Sweet singlets boys!!
