I love helping people. I love helping people who want to help themselves. Trust me lots of people want help but don't want to put the work or effort into it. When you get a client who really wants to get better, stronger, more efficient you will go the extra mile, spend extra time to ensure that person is getting what they deserve from a Coach. Whether you charge or Coach for free, it should all be the same respect given.
Some people call them selves coaches and give people a program and never EVER check their clients technique which drives me nuts. ANYONE can sell you a program, hell there are tons of FREE programs out there that you can use why pay someone to give you a program if that's all your getting? Cookie cutter programs don't work for everyone and if you think you are doing an exercise right without being taught then chances are you are doing it wrong.
Did you know you can lift more weight by perfecting your technique? Did you know you can get injured by doing something the wrong way? But of course you know this and yet there is still so much of this going on in the industry today.
So on the menu for today's technique training was how to do the following moves properly and how to add the exercises into your program to cover your weaknesses.
Belt Squats ( Knee and hip position)
Squats On Mono (Getting tight, grip, knee position, elbow position, depth, back tightness, breathing etc)
Bench Press (Including set up, bar path, leg drive, wrist wrapping)
GHR (Progressions, ladders, back extensions, sit ups, proper form)
REVERSE HYPER (Maximizing using for leg raises, seated lat pulls etc)
KETTLEBELLS (Tricep extensions, Swings, never put kettlebells into someone's program without teaching them proper technique first)
I'm sure there was more I taught but this is the meat and potatoes of todays training. So I hope I helped in some small way by Living, Learning, Passing On.
