Anika's progress from meet to meet has been nothing short of amazing. Her continued progress each meet shows that her hard work and dedication are always on point training cycle after training cycle.

This woman has perfected her technique to almost perfect in the past 3 years that she has been competing. Anikas first meet was Laura Phelps Women's Pro Am in Cincinnati, Ohio back in 2016! A huge meet to be her first for sure and she has not looked back.

During this training cycle Anika was in a bad car wreck. She had just bought herself a new Toyota truck that she had been wanting and then just a few weeks later on her way to an appointment she got side swiped by another vehicle and hit a guard rail, got spun around several times and almost thrown from her truck. She sustained some minor injuries but her back has not been the same since the accident.

While most might have used that as an excuse not to push forward, she did not. Anika is a warrior. She is a full time employee at a NC state facility here in North Carolina, a mother of two of the best young men you will ever meet, highly involved with Boy Scouts and Little League Baseball, works on cars and a laundry list of other things that keeps this woman hopping.

The point is Anika is one busy woman but still finds time for herself, time to train or as she calls it her therapy time and lets not forget, time to be a badass mothafucka in the gym! We are all busy but you always find time for things you need and love and she does.

I am so proud of you Anika! You made me so proud! I told you a long time ago, sky is the limit for you and it still is. I can not wait to see what you do next!

Also I can not thank you enough for all of the things you do for our Team and Gym!
