Last week's training went well, and things seem to be steadily improving as we close in on these last few weeks till meet time. I've always struggled with speed and being explosive, I can grind through lifts I've always needed to work on getting more "pop" off the box for squat and off my chest for bench. When I'm run down from lack of sleep or other issues this gets even worse, and the beginning of meet training things were moving pretty slow. The past few weeks after deloading and moving into my circa max wave, things are finally picking up and I've been getting a lot more explosive, which makes me feel a lot better about where my recovery is going into the meet. This was also the first time ever doing a true circa max squat wave, and it went very well. I definitely have some good things to utilize next meet cycle as well.
