Round 2 of anatomy exams is slated for Friday, followed by most likely 2 exams early next week (one for sure and the other probable, but as yet unconfirmed). So I trained today after getting home and studying for an hour or so. My brain must still have been somewhat preoccupied with the material I was reviewing because I misloaded the bar for bench today for my work sets and ended up doing a little more than I had intended, but within what I had planned for the day. I stared straight at the weights multiple times and it didn't dawn on me that I was a great big dummy until shortly before my final work set for the day, when I was somewhat less than pleased that I had not felt good enough to bump my weight up 5 or 10 lbs over the course of my work sets. I'm definitely not complaining though, as Murphy seems to have worked in my favor this time.

3x225
1x275
1x300
3x3x335 - I was planning to start at 325, then go to 330 if that felt easy, then maybe up to 335 on my last set, only if 330 didn't feel any heavier than 325. I even thought to myself that doing my last triple at 335 would be a good sign for retesting bench in 4 weeks. I'm just glad I realized my error before unloading the bar and moving on with my training.
