As always we do things a little bit backwards, but that Is what makes it fun. We just got back from the Bahamas after 5 great days and 4 awesome nights on our Carnival Cruise ship to the Bahamas. Due to scheduling, work, training and life it was more feasible to take this vacation/honeymoon at the time we did. Our besties Shelley and Jason went with us on this much needed getaway.
Here in North Carolina we have been very blessed to have Carnival Cruise LineS port up out of Charleston South Carolina. After about 3 and a half hours of leaving our home in Nebo we can be on a boat in Charleston. This is a much better deal that the previous option which used to be either flying or driving 14 hours to Florida, the bottom of Florida to port out of Orlando OR Miami.
We left out Thursday afternoon and arrived back in South Carolina Monday morning. Its been right at 19 years since I have been on a cruise and less than that for Melissa and I'm sure neither of us had the fun that we had on this cruise ship together. Being able to travel the country with your best friend and soul mate makes life much better and more enjoyable. I've never been as happy as I am now or even spoiled but I sure aint complaining and I think I will take her for the rest of my life.
