Ughhh, three days of back to back training again. Like I have been saying, my hip and back are tweaked, but I am not allowing it to keep me from training. I did however make a few adjustments just to get this session in.

First, I decided I was going to use the upper handles on the trap bar. I know it's lame, but it's better than nothing. I was hemming and hawing with myself regarding the day's session whether I'd do an AMRAP set, fsl sets, and what assistance should happen. So the second accommodation was I'd do all my deadlifting and no assistance. This is known by Wendler in the 5/3/1 world as "I AIN'T DOING JACK SH!T."

Sometimes just getting through your main lift is enough. It's not the ab wheel roll outs that that make you stronger, it's the deadlift. Of course the little stuff adds up and that's why I'd never say to just throw it all out. It's assistance, hence it assists in making the bigger lifts. However, when you're beat to crap and don't even want to train, you can sack up and push yourself through the hard word and reward yourself with skipping the small stuff.

I felt accomplished just getting this in.
