BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT Hold the dumbbell in the opposite hand as your front foot. Keep you front foot out far enough out in front of you so you can keep a perpendicular shin angle. Reach your hips back until your front femur is parallel to the floor. On the descent, roll your front knee out slightly.
