The leading cause for injury in older men is us thinking we are still young men.

If it takes longer to warm up (especially since the temperature has gotten cooler), so what?  Take more time.

If you don't have that set or rep left this time, so what?  Get it next time.

The big thing is the competitive spirit we older fellas have.  That's why we have age brackets.

Don't compete with the 20 something kid that is good enough to break into Big Time Division I football when you are past the age of 55.  The payback is tremendous.

Compete, but be smart!
