If I decided that I wanted to be a golf coach, would you hire me?

I’ve never played in a tournament, but dabbled in putt-putt a few times. I actually never hit a drive in my life.

I have no mentors or formal study of the game. I have never played with anyone in a serious manner, but I have watched a few pros online and have taken a few naps watching the PGA on TV.

Although I am inexperienced, I don’t see the need to volunteer at a high school or at any club level. I don’t believe in working without pay. That would be taking advantage of my time, and no education is worth that! I think that the best experience is the real world, so I’m offering a 1/2 price rate to the first 5 to sign up for my online golf group.

Two are sold, but there are 3 SPOTS LEFT!

This is the exact standard that has been set for online Powerlifting coaches. Go back on my IG feed and look at my coaching questions to see for yourself

Under the bar experience should not be required

Competition experience shouldn’t be required

Education isn’t required

Experience training others is not required (to bill for work)

This KILLS the possibility of any decent coach being able to do their best work, as the market sets the price, and it’s so diluted that nobody with the necessary skill set and knowledge can charge more than $10.00 a week. This service should take 1-2 hours per week, per client (at the least), but most clients won’t pay $300/week because all IG Guru’s charge $200 or less for 20 weeks.

More client education is needed because there are MANY who are VERY qualified to do the work, and when I bash online coaches it’s never about them. This is also why I help people find coaches with zero in it for me. I don’t even want the coach to know I referred them.

Competitive pricing is great, but diluting a service so that someone can make Tren money does more harm than they know. The standard has been set to low, it’s way harder for a coach to make money teaching Golf than a sport where 60% of those who do it will get injured.
