Please excuse typo's, spelling errors and other mistakes. My grammar was bad to begin with and now that I can post these from my phone...well... it's not going to improve.

Last Thursday was leg day and there really was only one goal in mind...To get IFBB Pro Andrew Hudson to vomit. This was my goal, John Meadows goal AND Andrews.  This is what happened.

We began the day with seated leg curls. * 5-6 warm up sets of 8-10 reps
* 3 work sets of 8 reps (1-2 reps shy of failure)
* 1 work set of 8 followed by 20-25 partials

Leg Presses
* starting at 5 plates per side, 10 reps per set and working up 1 plates/side/ set. The last three sets would be the work sets with the weight being 11/12/13 plates per side. On my last set my knee started to give me issues again so I did rest pause sets for 15 reps. John did his normal sets and reps and Andrew did the same except for his last set. We had him go to 14 plates per side and rest pause his set to failure, then pulled off 3 plates per side and had him go to failure again, pulled 3 more and he went to failure again. one more drop with 3 rounds of 6-8 second Iso Holds.

When he got up I knew this go wasn't going to vomit. His aerobic base was on point so the only thing left to do is to see if we could get him to pass on. This doesn't mean "actually passing on" but almost passing out where you know you have to stop and end up on the floor.

Squat Machine
* I did a few sets of 8 and this made my knee worse. I actually think this was what began to aggravate it a couple sessions again. The shear force on the joints with this thing is very high so if I am to do it in the future the weight needs to be light or I have to figure out how to refab the unit to reduce this shearing.  Andrew and John worked up and went as heavy as they could for sets of 8.  On the last two sets Andrew hit failure at the bottom of the set, we stripped the weight and had him do more reps. Iso Holds were add to the end of this final set.

One Leg Bulgarian Squats
* This is a very poor choice for a guy with a total hip replacements so I went on to hip ab and adducation as well as the glute press. They did one warm up set and one drop sets. I did 12 total sets of 15-20 reps on the easy machines I  use.

Sissy Squats
* 4 sets of 6-12 (to failure)

Leg Extensions
* 4 sets of 8-10 full reps and 20-50 partials

Andrew never puked but he did hit the floor for a short time. There is no doubt this guy trains hard on a regular basis. He may have went through the hardest more brutal leg session we have ever put anyone through and came out the ass end smiling.
