The power of these is like blast straps — you can turn your hands any which way you please to alter the angle in which your upper body gets worked.

Jim Wendler created this principle and it is called "The Wendler Muscle Confusion Principle."

Where would we be without this "Master?"

You can rotate hands as you perform the movement or keep them locked in place.

To strengthen the wrists and grip, try performing the entire movement with a false grip, which is thumbless and with wrists flexed.

Wrist strength is often overlooked and if you think about it, or analyze combative sports - clinch in muay thai, collar tie in wrestling grappling, etc. - the wrist is often flexed. Without the powerful wrist flexion, the grip is weaker.

We use all angles for these for variety purposes.
