The question that led to this week's Table Talk may be one of the best Dave has received since beginning the series. From Instagram user yahweh522:

"Why do I want to die after widowmaker squat sets? WTF am I thinking? At rep 12 life is fucking magical, at 14 it's like my mom just told me my dad isn't my real dad, at rep 17 I just want someone to tell me it's going to be ok, at rep 20 I just survived a fucking plane crash and I feel like I get a second change. 35 mins later I feel like I'm going to puke then I pass out for 15 mins and feel like I woke up a week later after a Robitussin overdose. Why, Dave? Why do I do this to myself?"

This is Dave's area of expertise. He loves stupid challenges and pushing his body to the limit simply for the sake of pushing his body to the limit. The challenges may change over time but the purpose remains the same: to struggle and keep going. To feel, to truly believe, that you cannot do one more rep — and then doing five.
