This week I decided to go home to Milwaukee Wisconsin and visit with my mom's. There has been a gym here that I have been wanting to check out the last two visit's. Well today and the rest of this week I was able to train at Top Line gym in Glendale Wisconsin. This gym had a great facility that housed EliteFTS, and Westside equipment which is what I needed to feel at home and complete my training. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was the same if not better than what I am used to at home!

This whole cycle I will be attempting competition lifts to see if I have made any progress with my shoulder causing immense tricep pain. I have "advanced" now to holding the bar with three fingers instead of four to allow my shoulders a little more room to "breath". I am 205lbs and have to grab the bar this way, yes I know it is pathetic, another reason I am doing this to find out my progress.

Mid-way through squats I had minor discomfort but repositioned the bar on my last two sets and was fine the rest of the session. We shall see how my arms hold up on bench day to declare the first week a positive progression or not. Top set of squats today was 445 for five, my back was pretty tight by the end of today but, as you can see in the video, I had a lot left. It appears I am still struggling to hit obvious depth so I either need more weight to help me get down or increase the mobility before and between sets to help me get there.
