Training never goes as planned and if it does, good for you, you are above average!  Tonight I had a plan all laid out then one stupid twinge and my whole plan goes to hell in a hand basket.

BLOCK PULLS

256 LBS X 5/5

306 LBS X 5/5  (On my 3rd pull of second set here I pulled my left tricep/lat I could feel a twinge but finished my 5 ouch)

SAFETY SQUAT BAR GOOD MORNINGS

65 LBS X 10/10

126 LBS X 10/10/10

RDL’S

8/8  8/8  10/10

KETTLEBELL SWINGS

53 LBS X 12/12/12/12

REVERSE HYPERS

210 LBS X 20  ( I could only do one set my arm was too sore)

Well that was frustrating to say the least. I have never pulled a muscle deadlifting before. It happened when I was resetting my lats and getting tight before pulling.  Nature of the game I guess, hopefully it’s not too big of a setback. Thank goodness for off season training, lots of time to work on things.

My biggest thought and decision right now is what should I do for the Arnold’s. Full power equipped or main stage Deadlift Salute, tough tough choice.
