Today was a good day. There were three of us all training block pulls at the same time, and we loaded and cued for each other. I realized how much I missed having a training crew since moving to Alberta.
Overall, I'm still feeling stronger and more myself every week, and it feels good to notice myself getting stronger every session.
Block pulls did kick my ass a bit. We used a stiff bar and I had to work really hard to be patient off the blocks and not let my hips shoot straight up. The main things I needed to work on were setting my shoulders tighter, and wedging harder into the bar.
I'll be training block pulls every other week for the next six weeks, so I'll have a lot of time to work on these weak points.
