Today I got on the treadmill and threw the old hear rate monitor on. Not that long ago I was able to get my heart rate up over 110 on the treadmill at just around 3 miles an hour. Then I had to add in some incline to get there. Well, when I checked today I ended up at 3.3 mph with an incline of 3.5 to get my heart rate to the same place. Man, I wish my strength grew like this.
After my meet I am ramping this sh!t up. I'll probably have 10 lbs to go to my bw goal. I am going to condition it off. As Harry Selkow says, "Train like a linebacker and eat like Meadows."
