The short of this weekend...

  • I was reminded of how fucking fantastic it is to be a part of team EliteFTS
  • I got to spend some QT with the strongest and most beautiful ladies in strength sports- and they're all amazing in their own ways.
  • Jim Wendler is a cool dude.
  • Jeff Guller is one hell of a guy.
  • I'm in love with Mickey B.
  • And Yessie always takes care of me.

Yessie and I hit the road Saturday at 5am to make it to London in time. We met all the ladies and two of our training partners from home at Bob Evans. Hannah told a story about telling someone off which ended in "So I told her to SUCK MY DICK" and we promptly exited the restaurant.

I had zero plan on what I was going to do and how I was going to do it. I was cautious of my hamstring after I tweaked it on Tuesday. So I thought I might DL conventionally, but squats were calling my name. I knew I needed briefs, but I yanked those off and decided to go with the squat suit for a little more support. And I never thought I would work up to 870, but it was there and it moved OK.

Saturday night we headed to dinner as a team. Andddd decided on ice cream as well. Sunday morning Yessie and I went to our favorite breakfast place only to find it was closed. So we settled for our second favorite with Zach and Mickey.
