There are only two things to enjoy about dieting: seeing your progress at the end of the cutting period, and cheat meals. You only get to enjoy one of these before the end of the diet — and it doesn't involve a mirror.

Cheat meals (or cheat days, if that's your thing) usually have parameters as given by a coach. Some methods place a calorie limit. Others require that you keep fat low while consuming as much protein and carbohydrates as you desire. There are even dieting methods that include splurging on one specific food choice during a given time frame.
