The photo below is from the 1975 Miss Americana (which ran in conjunction with the IFBB Mr. Olympia). While the physique standards have changed in the past 40 years, the athleticism and respect certainly has made enormous strides forward.

The blatantly leering judges (the worst one being Matt Ferrigno, father of Lou Ferrigno, seated to the left of the others) would not be acceptable at most modern shows. Have the levels of judges/promoters matured? Or have women gained a level of greater respect from officials simply due to contributing the greater number of entry fees and ticket sales?
