I’m half way through the training cycle for my meet. I almost forgot how hard training for a meet is on your body.
I figured if I was going to throw caution to the wind with my equipped training I’d need some sort of edge.
Mmm….applesauce, pickles and eggs.
Just kept busy and did a little work this week after the meet.
Everyone must have been scared of me. Either that or nobody wanted to fly to Connecticut to lift.
The next week you could rotate to some reverse bands with shirt off boards
This is embarrassing, I was more of a mess than I thought when I started.
What does everyone want? A bigger bench press of course. Let’s face it—people don’t walk up to you and ask, “So what do you curl?” Everyone wants to know how much you can bench. Well, I can bench press a lot, and I’m going to share some tips with you.
Triples in the shirt is hands down the best exercise to increase your bench. What sucks is that they are hard as shit to master. They need to be completed on one breath. I don’t know how many times I have told lifters to do this exercise. But what I usually hear from the lifter is, “why?” Because I said so, that is why!
