Some random things to know about me:
I have a weird obsession with beards, specifically my boyfriend’s, I can twist any situation to a perverted one, so I thought David Kirschen’s “shake weight” post was pure genius, and I’m pretty sure bench days are the best days.

Background and how I started:
I am 23 years old, Dominican and Colombian, born in Astoria, NY, and raised in Miami, FL. I compete in the 132 raw weight class, strongman is my new addiction, and being short has its moments.

Going back to where I started, my first memory about powerlifting was having no clue what the heck it was. Honestly. I had just graduated high school and I was pretty much finished with sports (basketball and volleyball). My brother trained at this gym called Idolmaker Physique and Performance, and he was bragging on about Westside this, max effort that, and dynamic –- um…what? I had to see what the fuss was all about. As soon as I experienced what the sport was all about, that was it for me. The adrenaline rush, excitement, and disappointment all in one, is when I realized, yup, I’m a masochist.

Long story short -- an Elite total and a pretty bad ammonia addiction later, powerlifting became a huge part of my life. It’s been an amazing experience thus far, and I am looking forward to sharing my journey with you guys!

Currently, I am 3 weeks out from my second strongman competition that will qualify me for Nationals.
