Today is bench day. I didn’t want to work in with the group because I honestly wasn’t sure what I’d be able to do so I just did my own thing. Here is what I did…
Stationary bike – 10 minutes
Foam rolling, band pull aparts, reverse grip dumbbell press
Slight incline dumbbell press
30’s for 20 reps
50’s for 12 reps
70’s for 10 reps
90’s for 10 reps
120’s for 10 reps
150’s for 5 reps
Barbell bench
Worked up doing triples to 315
365 for a single
Close grip bench using shoulder saver pad
225 for 5 sets of 5 reps
Chest supported row - used slight camber bar
135 for 10 reps
185 for 10 reps
225 for 4 sets of 6 reps
Standing military press with elitefts™ Swiss Angle Grip™ Press Bar
95 for 5 sets of 10 reps
I was very pleased with today’s training. At the beginning of the day I never would have said I could move the 150’s today but they moved pretty well. Then 365…I honestly don’t know where that came from but I’ll take it. Had to be partially because of the environment.
